Date Selection Guide

Event & return dates

When selecting your rental dates, the first date entered should be the date of your event.  The return date MUST be the next available weekday. This is to align with the NZ postal system whilst our system will automatically block out days either side of each rental to allow us time to clean and prepare garments for future orders. Any additional days may be charged extra or your rental may be cancelled. If you require your rental to arrive before your event date due to going away, etc, please contact us or leave a note on the order of the date you will need it by along with the date of your actual event. We will then assess if an extended fee charge needs to be added. 

Weekday rentals

For events on Monday to Thursday, select the day of your event and the next available weekday for return.

Weekend rentals

For events on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, select the day of your event and the following Monday for return.

Public holidays

If there is a public holiday immediately after your event date, still select that as the next available weekday for the return date. Eg. If a Monday usual return day is a public holiday, still select Monday as your return but your thank you card with your garment on arrival will confirm the return as Tuesday since post shops are closed on public holidays. We treat public holidays the same as weekends for rental purposes and you will not be charged extra for public holidays or weekends.

Additional days

To ensure we can keep turnaround times to a minimum, rentals MUST be returned on the next available weekday, (unless a public holiday interrupts this as stated above), or will be considered an extended booking. Any additional days may be charged for an extended fee or your rental may be cancelled. If you wish to make an extended booking, please contact us. If you require your rental to arrive before your event date due to going away, etc, please contact us or leave a note on the order of the date you will need it by along with the date of your actual event. We will then assess if an extended fee charge needs to be added.
